TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BELLONA
All of our quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
Full payment will be required at time of order. Unfortunately Bellona no longer accept credit cards registered outside of the UK. Please be aware that a 30% deposit will be required on all finance agreements.
The customer shall be required to pay outstanding balance in full and cleared funds seven days prior to the delivery date.
The delivery charge is £59 for delivery within the M25, We only deliver to the first floor of any house/apartment, except when arranged separately at time of order which may incur an additional charge. Please note delivery may not be possible in more remote areas of mainland UK. If you believe your delivery address is outside of the UK Mainland and Northern Ireland then please contact us before you attempt to place an order. We regret we are unable to arrange collection of goods from stores however, collection can be arranged on orders placed in our stores. The customer is required to take delivery of the goods within 1 month of the goods arriving into stock.
For deliveries outside the M25 we will quote you the charge at the time of this order.
On receipt of your product into our distribution center, we will contact you to arrange delivery. You will be offered an initial delivery slot but if this is not acceptable we will offer a maximum of two alternatives. Target delivery dates will be arranged within our normal delivery areas on designated days, which we will notify to you. On the delivery day a two person team will place your furniture into the room of your choice. Product will be unwrapped (except where self-assembly product) and you will be asked to inspect the product. All
wrapping material will be removed. You must inspect all goods on delivery and advise us of any shortfalls or visible damage, we cannot accept any claim for damage where the product is not unwrapped and inspected at the time of delivery.
Note that you will have been advised separately if the delivery crew is undertaking any assembly work (this applies only to certain ranges).
4. Split deliveries
Where you have selected multiple products from us then we may need to make more than one delivery to you. This is particularly the case with cabinet furniture where much of our range is delivered directly by the supplier on specialist transport. Where this is necessary we will not charge for the additional delivery
5. Delivery dates
All delivery dates quoted at the time of your order are estimates. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that we honor estimated delivery dates, it is possible that circumstances beyond our control may cause delivery dates to be changed.
If delivery of the ordered goods is not made within 24 months from the date of the contract the customer will forfeit the deposit and any monies paid and the order will be cancelled.
The company will contact to customer to agree a delivery date. Whereby a delivery date is agreed it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that a person is at the delivery location to accept the goods. Failure to accept the delivery may result in a £65 re-delivery charge.
The company are unable to specify a delivery time, however deliveries take place between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm.
Ownership of goods shall remain with Bellona and shall not pass to you until the agreed price together with all other sums due from you to Bellona have been paid in full and goods have been delivered to your home, except in cases where goods are purchased on credit and the credit sales agreement specifies otherwise.
Unfortunately we do not have the facility to store your product for any length of time therefore if you cannot take the product within one weeks of us advising you of its availability, we will charge storage charges of £50 per week for a maximum of four weeks, after which we deem the order to be cancelled.
8. Disposal of old furniture
We cannot collect or dispose of your old furniture. However we ask that you do not dispose of your old sofa, table or bed if at all possible until delivery has been made as, in the unlikely event of a delivery problem arising, we cannot guarantee a loan piece of furniture.
We will do our best to place the goods in the desired location, provided there is reasonable access. It is your responsibility to ensure that the product can be delivered into you home and into their chosen location. It is essential therefore that you discuss any possible restrictions on access into your home so that we can perform a risk assessment with you. You should think in particular about vehicle access, lifts and tight stairs etc. If windows or doors need to be removed in order for access to be gained it is your responsibility to arrange this at your cost and risk.

10. Size and description of product
All sizes quoted are approximate. Size and product descriptions are given in good faith from our suppliers’ information. Products are manufactured to perform within the appropriate industry measurement tolerances.
11. Variation in product specification
Due to the shortage of certain new raw materials, changes in legislation or safety requirements some products supplied by the Company may have minor technical alterations and could differ slightly in actual construction from the goods shown in sample or pattern form. The Company state any changes that are made will result in a performance of an equally high or improved standard. The quality coding will remain the same and the quality guarantee will continue to apply.
All goods supplied are guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of 24 months from date of delivery in respect of faulty workmanship or materials. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
13. Extended warranties

14. General care
The product(s) supplied are to be used for the purpose and in the manner for which they were designed. Most manufacturers include care and maintenance advice with their products, which should be read and followed. No responsibility will be accepted for damaged caused by cleaning if the care and maintenance instructions have not been followed.
15. Cancellations by BELLONA
We reserve the right not to accept an order if:
We do not have the stock to fulfill the order
we are unable to deliver the product to your area
If your payment was not authorised
If you have not complied with our terms and conditions of sale
If an order is cancelled by Bellona, any payments made to us will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation.
16. This Contract
Bellona is under a legal duty to supply goods with are in conformity with this contract.
17. Cancelling your order
Made to Order products,
Made to order products have been produced specifically for you therefore no refunds or exchanges can be made at any time.
Delays in delivery of the Goods due to manufacturing or shipping delays are not reasons to cancel this agreement.
